Entrepreneurs' Programme

Entrepreneurs' Programme

SETsquared Exeter's Entrepreneurs' Programme is a fully-funded three-day workshop for founders wanting to explore and evaluate early-stage tech business concepts.

This online programme is suitable for first time founders working at the very early stages as well as for owners of established small tech businesses looking to bring a new product or service to the market.

Based on Strategyzer’s established Business Model Canvas methodology, participants take a deep dive into your proposed business model, evaluating its strengths and weaknesses and working towards developing a clear and robust plan for developing your venture.

The sessions are designed to be practical, interactive and hands-on, and you’ll be putting theory into practice by comparing your business with established business models.

The programme culminates with an opportunity to present your business model to a panel of experts and then a speed mentoring session, which will provide additional valuable feedback on your business idea.

Zoita Mandila, a participant from one of the recent Entrepreneurs' Programme remarked on her experience: "When you start a new venture, the hardest part is understanding and refining how to best put things together in a realistic and achievable way. The programme is helping you to achieve this. The mentors are amazing, they bring in a completely new perspective on your business. A programme not to be missed."

This programme is designed to work best for businesses with a science/technology focus. Please note that this programme is not open to students or participants who are currently engaged with our Student Startups team. The programme is held quarterly throughout the year.
